Jerry Medders

Mr. Jerry Lynn Medders, 65 of Dallas went to be with the Lord on July 28, 2006 in Kilgore after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Jerry was born March 16, 1941 in Kilgore to William Harvey and Mattie Laura Bradley Medders. He was a member of the Church of Christ and had worked in retail sales for many years. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, William Harvey Medders, Sr. and by his brother William Harvey Medders, Jr. He is survived by his mother - Mrs. Mattie Laura Medders of Kilgore, formerly of Mexia. Brother and sister-in-law - Sue and Donnie Medders of Taft, TX, Sister and brother-in-law - Padgett and Paul Scheibe of Plano, Sister and Brother -in-law - Janice and Mike Lewis of Kilgore. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday July 31, 2006 in the Blair-Stubbs funeral home chapel in Mexia with Robin Wright officiating. Burial will follow in the Mexia cemetery. Family visitation will be Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
