Jim Bryan

Jim Bob Bryan passed at the age of 89 on May 12, 2021. Services will be held at the Lost Prairie Baptist Church at 514 FM 3371 outside of Groesbeck, Texas at 2 PM on Sunday, May 16, 2021. Burial will be at the same location immediately after the service.

Jim Bob Bryan was a successful businessman, with an undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University and a law degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He was very active in the business communities of both Austin, Texas and Lubbock, Texas.

He was predeceased by his wife, Wanda Wylene Bryan, and his son, David Alton Bryan.

Survivors include his children, Diane Bryan of New Braunfels, Texas; Loretta Bryan of Bulverde, Texas; Mark Bryan of Universal City, Texas. He is also survived by his younger brother Joe Dale Bryan of Lubbock, Texas.

Flowers may be sent, or donations may be made to the charity of your choice. A preferred charity would be the Everliving Church Trust of First United Methodist Church in Lubbock, Texas. Donations to the trust may be made online. Flowers may be delivered to Blair Stubbs Funeral Home of Mexia, Texas.
