Jimmie Liles

Mrs. Jimmie Ellen Davis Liles, 87, of Mexia passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012, in Mexia. She was born January 31, 1925 in Limestone County, to Albert Franklin and Joannie "Josie" Guthrie Davis. She married Everette Edward Liles on May 13, 1943 and they were the parents of one son, James Everette Liles. Mrs. Liles worked at the Mexia ISD Cafeteria and the Mexia State School. She was a member of the Northcrest Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Allie Lee Davis Henderson, Elby Odell Davis, Duard Dean Davis, Raymond Eldon Davis, and half-siblings, Ruby Ray Davis, Elijah Eugene Davis, Joe Jackson Davis, William Wilbur Davis, Curtis Davis and Iva Illa Davis. Survivors include her son, James Everette Liles and wife Linda, several grandchildren and great grandchildren and brother, Albert Franklin Davis, Jr. of Elk City, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 11AM Monday, March 12, 2012, at the Blair-Stubbs Chapel with visitation one hour prior to the service. Mr. Shane Alexander will officiate. Interment will be in the Plummer Cemetery.
