John Allen Haddox was born on October 11,1951 to Jay and Peggy Haddox. He was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Feb 4, 2018. John served in the U.S. Army and obtained his Master's Degree in psychology. He worked as a master technician until he retired in 2016. He loved spending time with his family, watching NASCAR, CSI and football. In his younger years, he enjoyed getting a little mud on the tires at Grayson County Speedway and getting his car prepped for the next race. John was always more than willing to help anyone in need and never met a stranger. If you drove down his street, you were sure to be greeted with a wave. He is survived by his sister, Donna Connelly and brother-in-law David Connelly, his sister, Denna Copley and brother-in-law James Copley; three daughters, Darla Douglas, Marci Gardner and Courtney Hunter; two sons, Jerrell Haddox and John David Haddox and a daughter-in-law Danielle Parkhouse John also has 10 grandchildren and a great granddaughter who love their "Pop" dearly. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, February 10, 2018 in the Coolidge Cemetery Chapel. Exodus 23:20 "Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared."
