Funeral services for Mr. John Ira King, 80, of Nacogdoches will be 4 p.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2005 in Blair - Stubbs Chapel, Mexia with interment following in Old Bethel Cemetery. Bro. Michael Vestal , pastor of Temple Baptist Church in Mexia will officiate. Mr. King passed away on September 4, in Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital He Was born October 29, 1924 in Garrison, Texas and for a number of years he lived In Colorado. For a number of years he was a plant layout inspector for Western Union and he and his wife operated several Stucky Pecan Shops. He is survived by his wife, Beth R. King of Nacogdoches. Pallbearers will be Archie Freeman, Tim Freeman, Ken Greenfield, Rodney Moore, Lonnie Watson, and John Read.
