J.r. Crutchfield

Mr. John Ross Crutchfield, 90, of Mexia passed away Friday, August 31, 2007 in Waco. Mr. Crutchfield was born May 10, 1917 in Round Oak, Georgia to Benjamin F. and Eula Jackson Crutchfield. Mr. Crutchfield, a resident of Mexia since 1969 was retired from the electrical repair business. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mexia. Survivors include his wife, Loda Bell Cruthfield of Mexia, his sisters, Margaret Libhart of Wortham and Bonnie Rickard of Mexia and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday, September 2, 2007 in the Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home Chapel in Mexia. The Reverend Brad Brittain will officiate and the interment will follow in the Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Saturday evening from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
