Junior Findley

Junior Payne Findley, 83, of Prairie Hill, passed away January 10, 2014 in Mexia. Graveside services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 in the Prairie Hill Cemetery with Mr. Alden Garber officiating. Junior was born March 1, 1930 in Prairie Hill, Texas to Thomas Payne and Amy Beatrice Vickery Findley. He lived in the Prairie Hill area his entire life. He was a rancher who enjoyed raising cattle, country living and spending time with his family. Junior believed in working hard and treating people the way he wanted to be treated. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 56 years, Mary Findley. Junior is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Donna Findley; grandson, Kyle Hancock and wife, Cheryl; great-grandchildren, Katelinn and Kyler Hancock; sister, Frances Burke; brother-in-law, Jerry Ward and wife, Tammy; and several nieces and nephews.
