Funeral services for Mrs. Kathleen Louise Sammons Forrester, 60 of Coolidge will be Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at 2 p.m. in Blair - Stubbs chapel in Mexia. Mrs. Forrester passed away on Monday at her residence. Rev. Fred Sain will officiate with interment to follow in Prairie Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Joe Aguliar, Charles Kerr, Ronnie Easton, Chris Hill, Lee Fivecoat and Bubba Reeves. Honorary pallbearers will be the Boyd Unit Employees and extended family and friends. Mrs. Forrester was born June 24, 1947 in Refugio, Texas to Conan Doyal and Dorothy Winifred Underwood Sammons. On May 28, 1966 she was married to Kenneth Ray Forrester in Coolidge. She was a retired Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice property officer. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Ray Forrester of Coolidge, daughter, Kelli Renee Richards and husband, David of Gatesville, son, Kevin Ray Forrester and wife, Crissy of Waco, 2 grandchildren, Katelyn Renee Brock and Taylor Kristine Faust-Forrester, Sisters: D. D. Haines and husband, Wesley of The Colony; and Pat Whicker and husband, Chuck, of Sinton, and brother, James B. "Jim" Sammons and wife, Gina of Rockport and numerous nieces and nephews.
