Kenneth Jones

Kenneth (Ken) Ray Jones, 63, of Plano passed away February 19, 2012 in McKinney, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 1PM, Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Rosemound Burial Park Cemetery in Waco, Texas. Ken was born May 28, 1948 in Burnet, Texas to R.B. and Lottie Liles Jones. He spent most of his life in the Dallas area. He worked for many years for Texas Instruments. Ken was lovingly devoted to his family. He felt they were his greatest asset. Ken was passionate about music; especially loved playing the drums. He proudly got his start on the drums at Waco's West Jr. High School. Ken once worked as a DJ for a radio station. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Melton Jones; and twin sister, Brenda Kay Jones. Ken is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Delano and husband, Mark of Plano; two sons, Jeremy and Jeffery Jones; two grandchildren, Jack and Paige Delano of McKinney; one sister, Peggy Hinkle of Pflugerville; three brothers, Ronald Jones and wife, Jeffy of San Antonio, Donald Jones and wife, Alicia of Pearland and David Jones and wife, Sandra of Denison; and two aunts, John Nell Spillers of Mexia and Myrtice Pierce of Pampa. He is also fondly survived by his former wife, Martha Jones and daughters, Carla, Karen and Jacklyn and son, Little Ken.
