Funeral services for Lance Corporal Casey Don Shelton, 28 of Cooper will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 4, 2006 in Tehuacana United Methodist Church. Rev. Michael Gilchrest And Rev. Brad Brittain will officiate with interment to follow in Tehuacana Cemetery. Mr. Shelton was born September 7, 1977 in Groom, Texas and passed away on April 1, 2006. He was the manager of Delta County Water District . He was in the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve: NEWS Motorcycle Club and a member of the Methodist Church. He is survived by his parents, Betty Shelton and Frank Compton of Tehuacana, And Don Shelton and Betty Smith of Forest Glade; grandmothers: Lillian Fowler Of Headley, Texas and Eva Mackey of Paris, "Special daughter of Heart". Lauren Gardner; brother, Clay Smith, Nephew, Byron Smith, Uncles: Kenneth Shelton, Sam Elrod, Winford Elrod, Johnny McManus; Aunts, Kathy Collier, Neava Vidlar, Delitha Riggs, Vickie Ryan, Glenda Gayle Roberts,and Tanya Brumbalow, and a number of cousins.
