Laverne White Obituary Mrs. Laverne Miles White, 74 of Old Union passed away Friday July 8, 2005 in Groesbeck. Funeral services will be 10 am Monday July 11, 2005 in the Blair-Stubbs funeral home chapel in Mexia. The Reverend Billy Anderson will officiate and the burial will follow in the Bremond cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening from the hours of 6 to 8. Mrs. White was born January 7, 1931 in Boone Prairie in Robertson County. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was a retired caregiver. Mrs. White is survived by her children - Wayne Walker and wife Brenda of Sunnyvale, Lisa Martin of Groesbeck and Wade White and wife Monette of Mexia. Five grandchildren - Kevin Walker, Chris Walker, Chance White and wife Sabrina, Rachel White and Dustin White. She is also survived by her sister - Gladys Pamplin of Marlin. Casket Bearers will be Kevin Walker, Chris Walker, Chance White, Daniel Burkeen, Ronnie Lenamond and Johnny Kent.
