Mr. Leland (Tommy) McBride, 67, of Teague passed away Saturday, November 4, 2006 at his residence in Teague. Mr. McBride was born March 3, 1939 in Houston to Fredrick "Bruce" and Mary Andrews McBride. Mr. McBride was a resident of Teague for the past 26 years and was retired from Trim Aire Aviation as an Aircraft Inspector. He and his wife Bertha were avid square dancers and he was also a square dance instructor and caller. Memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Jack McBride. Mr. McBride is survived by his wife Bertha of Teague, Daughter, Vicki Pendleton and her husband Donnie of Longview, Sheila Goldman and her husband Roy of Kemp. Grandchildren, Justin Pendleton, Ryan Pendleton, Cara Pendleton, Ashley Goldman, Jeff Goldman and Jake Goldman. Great Grandson, Christopher Thomas Pendleton. He is also survived by brothers and sisters, Raymond, Mary Lou, Fredrick (Jr.), Charlie, Johnny, Ronnie and Nina. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at the Blair-Stubbs funeral home chapel with the Reverend Darrel Beggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Driver cemetery near Teague. Pallbearers will be Roy Goldman, Donnie Pendleton, Charles Raney, Jeff Goldman, Jake Goldman, Ryan Pendleton and Justin Pendelton. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Trim Aire Avaition.
