Lillie Pearl Howard, formerly of Mexia, passed away April 1, 2024 in Franklin, Texas at the age of 88. She was born January 14, 1936 in Horn Hill, Texas to George and Georgia Ann (Wallace) Foley. She was an employee of the Mexia State Supported Living Center for 20 years.
Lillie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great grandmother. She was happiest when she was surrounded by her family; she looked forward to family get-togethers. However, her greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. She was also a faithful Christian and enjoyed being a member of the Church of Christ in Franklin.
Lillie’s other interests included sewing, camping, and being outdoors working in her flower garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Georgia Foley; Husband, Sidney Howard; Brothers, Lester and Ahavie Lee, Lewis, James, Troy and Roy; Sisters, Katy Lou, Margaret, Lillian Corinne, Viola and Georgia and Step Children, Jennie Ardoin and Freddy Howard.
Lillie is survived by her sons, Randy Price and wife, Michelle of WI and David Price and wife, Rebecca of Donie; stepson, Doug Howard of LA; stepdaughter, Jennifer Ridge and husband, Kirk of Tomball; 24 grandkids, 29 great grandkids, and 2 great-great grandkids; a close niece, Connie Currie; and other nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be 5-7 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2024 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Wilson Chapel Cemetery near Jewett.
