Linda "Darlene" Pyron Fisher, 63, of Lake Mexia passed away August 8, 2012 at her home. Funeral services will be 2PM, Sunday, August 12th, at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Rev. Kory Koch officiating. Interment will follow in the Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 2-4 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Darlene was born June 3, 1949 in Houston, Texas to William Cortez "Corky" and Ola Lee (Blair) Pyron. She was a 1967 graduate of Sam Houston High School in Houston. She retired after working as a legal assistant for over 36 years. Darlene married Donald L. Fisher on July 1, 2000. She loved living on Lake Mexia, where they moved over six years ago. She enjoyed spending time with her family, collecting Indian artifacts and learning the history of her collections. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Bill Pyron. Darlene is survived by her husband, Don; son, Kevin Ray Mosquinski and granddaughter, Makayla of Spring; step-children, Jeff Fisher and wife, Wendy of Spring and Julie Fisher of Lafayette, LA; step-grandchildren, Tyler and Shelby Fisher; sister, Donna Phillips and husband, Fred of Colorado; sister-in-law, Tonya Pyron; uncle Howard Pyron and wife, Margie; aunts, Yvonne Kilpatrick and Claudine Morgan; and numerous other family and friends.
