Funeral services for Linda Dean Hill, 67, will be Monday, Jan. 14, at 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Coolidge. Pastor Chuck Sturgeon will officiate. Linda was born April 15, 1945, in Sugarland, to Elmer and Lois Dean. She grew up in the Wylie, Dallas area but spent her life in Coolidge. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Coolidge for 14 years and was a member of the Coolidge Garden Club, where she had many wonderful friends and considered them her family also. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Lois Dean; sister, Janice Hardy; brothers, J.R. and Jerry Dean; and son, Tony Doss. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Krause and husband Tim; grandchildren, Tonya Rissmiller and Larry, Amber Shaw, Kristi Mangham and husband Adlia, Nikki, Matthew and Brandon Krause; four great-grandsons; sister, Patsy Newsom of Coolidge; brothers, Harold Dean, also of Coolidge, and Don Dean of Albuquerque; aunt, Mary Louise Faust of Mexia; favorite niece, Melody Wells of Coolidge; countless nieces and nephews and extended family. Linda was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was deeply loved by her family and church friends and anyone who knew her. She was the most fun-loving person you could ever meet. She loved her savior, Jesus Christ, her family and church. Linda loved going to church and was very active in all activities and was always willing to help out when needed. Linda loved to get dressed up, loved to cook and made the best chocolate pie you ever tasted. She loved her Bible and never missed Saturday night Gaither Gospel Hour and Charles Stanley, or Wheel of Fortune. She loved working in the yard tending her flowers, loved her cat, Baby, and her dog, Bobby. Linda will truly be missed so much. She meant the world to us and we will always have her in our hearts.
