Linda was born May 26, 1951 in Wortham, Texas to William Randolph and Alsie Mae Praytor Beldin. She graduated from Teague High School, Class of 1969 and then attended Navarro College for two years. She was office manager for Swarco for 25 years, prior to her illness. Linda married her loving husband, Jimmy Harold Sandifer, on June 6, 1970 in Mexia, Texas. They were the proud parents of two children, Kristie and Keith, and even prouder grandparents of Jordan and Kaitlyn. Linda's life revolved around her family, they were her pride and joy, especially, the grandchildren. She enjoyed her job and most importantly, she loved having extra money to spend on her grandchildren. Although Jordan and Kaitlyn lived out of town, she and Jimmy made every effort to attend their school activities or anything they participated in and distance was never an issue. Linda was always a strong and determined person, these qualities along with a positive attitude, were proven throughout her battle with cancer. She never gave up fighting and was blessed in living five years longer than predicted, enabling her to proudly see her oldest grandchild graduate from high school. Linda was a friendly, caring and sincere person; she was always willing to help family, friends or most anyone at any time. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William R. and Alsie Mae Beldin. Linda is survived by her husband, Jimmy Sandifer of Mexia; children, Kristie Griffin and husband, Jarrod of Magnolia and Keith Sandifer of Mexia; grandchildren, Jordan Griffin of College Station and Kaitlyn Griffin of Magnolia; sisters, Shirley Inderman of Huntsville and Janie Beldin of Teague; brothers, Dean Beldin of Magnolia, Bobby Beldin of Mexia and Danny Beldin of OK; and numerous nieces and nephews.
