Linda Lorraine Willits Todd joined her parents Lorraine and Carlton Hudson, son Benjamin Carl Hudson and grandson Ryan Griffin in heaven on December 24, 2023. Although Linda was born and raised in New York, she felt the most at home on her farm in Conroe, Texas. She was country through and through - always tending to her animals, swimming in the creek, and riding her horses Hank and Pandora. Her love for horses was passed on through generations. She enjoyed going to horse shows with her daughter, Cheryl Gaskins, and cheering for her grand-daughter, Taryn Griffin and Haisley Layne. She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife.
She is survived by the love of her life, Roger Todd. Linda and Roger were married 52 years and spent the entirety of their marriage attached at the hip. Together they had daughter, Cheryl and son, Benjamin. Linda’s children and grandchildren were everything to her. When she wasn’t caring for them, she took pride in caring for her patients as an OR nurse at Northwest Surgery Center. She made so many friends as a nurse and truly made an impact on everyone she met. According to Linda, she was the best nurse to have walked the planet. She lived by the words “work hard, play hard” and she truly worked hard for everything she had. She loved fast cars and you could often find her riding in style wearing a fancy purse and maybe her mink coat. She was a free spirit and the life of every party. Linda would want her loved ones to party on with a Miller lite in hand, cherishing her memories.
Linda is survived by her husband, Roger Todd, daughter, Cheryl Lynn Todd Gaskins, son-in-law, Dominic Gaskins, grandchildren Taryn Griffin and son in law Cade Layne, Ashton, Casey and Ty Gaskins, great-grand children, Haisley and Canyon Layne, and sisters Kate Hartley and Eileen Perkins.
