Funeral services for Mrs. Lois Matilda January Paris, 95 of Coolidge will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2007 in First Baptist Church of Coolidge. Rev. Larry Holden will officiate with interment following in the Coolidge Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5 - 7 p.m. Monday night at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home in Mexia. Mrs. Paris was born on September 17, 1912 in Lampasas to Benjamin Gideon And Tedie Elizabeth McCormic January and passed away on October 7, 2007 in Manor Nursing Home. She was a resident of Coolidge for 83 years, a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Coolidge. Mrs. Paris is survived by her daughter, Joy Johnston of Coolidge, son, Kenneth W. Paris of Coolidge, grandchildren: Wayne Paris of Crockett, Trent Paris of Robinson, Drake Paris of Killeen; Kent Johnston of Crawford, Jana Raymond of Groesbeck, Lori Knight of College Station, Karen Chilcoat of Mexia and Karmen Wilson of Teague, 21 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren, and sister, Dora Harrison of Coolidge. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth E. Paris in April 1992. Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons in law: Wayne Paris, Trent Paris, Drake Paris, Kent Johnston, Kirk Raymond, Steve Knight and Dave Chilcoat.
