Lorenzo Coronado

Lorenzo Alfaro Coronado, 66, passed away June 6, 2014 at his home in Coolidge. Funeral services will be 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Coolidge with Pastor Marcos Vargas officiating. Interment will follow in the Coolidge Cemetery. Lorenzo was born July 20, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas to Roman and Eustravelia Alfaro Coronado. He had been a resident of Coolidge for 18 years. He was a custodial employee of Groesbeck ISD for 8 years. In previous years, he was a taxi driver; a job he thoroughly enjoyed. Lorenzo married Ramona Moreno on February 18, 1979 in Villa Las Esperanzas. His love for God and his family was evident in the way he lived his life; he loved telling people about the Lord. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He was preceded in death by his parents. Lorenzo is survived by his wife, Ramona Coronado of Coolidge; children, Ricardo, Lorenzo, Brenda, Joana and Alejandro Coronado; grandchildren, Abigail, Perla and Pricila Coronado, Crystal, Gabriela, Isai and Erica Valle, Marisol Morales, Jakelin, Jimmy and Jessy Morales and Eric Coronado; brother, Pablo Coronado of Waco; and sisters, Leticia Villasenor of Mexico and Magda Lena Villasenor of Mexico. Pallbearers will Pablo Coronado, Ricardo Coronado, Lorenzo Coronado, Alejandro Coronado, Jaime Morales and Joe Valle.
