Funeral services for Mrs. Marguerite Glover, 95, of Farmersville, formerly of Coolidge, will be 11 a.m. Friday, July 28, in Coolidge Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Fred Sain, pastor of Prairie Hill Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Coolidge Cemetery. Visitation with family will be 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday night at Blair - Stubbs Funeral Home in Mexia.. Mrs. Glover was born on June 29, 1911 in Mexia to Henry Jackson and Elizabeth (Wolfe) Bennett and passed away on July 25, 2006 in Richardson. For years she owned and operated a variety store in Coolidge. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors are her grandson, James Clyde Webb and wife, Charlotte, of Farmersville; a grandson, Thomas Ray Webb of Austin: Great grandchildren: Cassy Lee Webb of Dallas, Andrea Almanza of Garland and Lauren Webb of Farmersville; one great great granddaughter, Mollie Almanza; and a brother, Joe Fred Bennett of Coolidge. Mrs. Glover was married on February 21, 1930 to James Joseph Glover. He preceded her in death on May 31, 2001, having been married for 71 years. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Webb and her parents Henry Jackson and Elizabeth Bennett. .
