Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Shelton Hodge, 86, of Pt. Enterprise will be Sunday, April 30, 2006 at 3 p.m. in Pt. Enterprise Baptist Church. Rev. Bruce Rudd, pastor Of the church and Rev. Dan Franks will officiate with interment to follow in the Pt. Enterprise Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5 - 7 p.m. Saturday night at Blair - Stubbs Funeral Home in Mexia. Mrs. Hodge was born December 27, 1919 in Cotton Gin to Mattie Oliver and Graves Edward Shelton and passed away at her residence on April 28, 2006, She was homemaker and longtime member of Pt. Enterprise Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Graves and Mattie Shelton, husband, Clovis Hodge, and brothers H. E. (Pete) Shelton and Wm. Shelton, Sr. She is survived by a sister: Mildred Shelton McKinney, Niece, Sheri Shelton Lyon, Nephews: John McKinney, Wm. Shelton, Jr. and Robert E. Shelton, and four great Nephews. Pallbearers will be John McKinney, Wallace Hamilton, Emmett Speer, William Shelton, Jr., Robert Shelton and Brandon McKinney.
