Marilyn Gale Logan, 65, of Mexia passed away March 5, 2011 in Mansfield, Texas. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Rev. David Snow officiating. Interment will follow in the Thornton Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Gale was born June 4, 1945 in Teague, Texas to Richard and Mary Beene Hearn. She graduated from Madisonville High School in 1964, however, the majority of her school years were attended in Teague. She was an employee of the Mexia State School for a number of years. Gale was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially, the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The highlight of her week was having Sunday dinner with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sons, Franklin D. Logan, Jr. and Jason Logan. Gale is survived by her three daughters, Laurie Simmons and husband, Walter, Donna Good and husband David and Wendy Hileman and husband, Richard all of Mexia; grandchildren, Brittany Tull, Chase and Kerri Simmons, Miranda, Hillary, Hailey and Landry Heller, Rowdy, Joe David, Colby and Carly Good, Heather, Kestyn and Shelby Glen Hileman and Cameron Gentry; great-grandchildren, Kimbrey Hileman, Channing Castro and Jaydee Bell; and sister, Deanne Ward of Houston Pallbearers will be A. J. Sandlin, Lance Bell, Sam Beene, Wayne Boyd, Cory Cawthorne and Brian Wiley.
