Marty Crenshaw

Marty Mack Crenshaw, of Mexia, passed away March 8, 2018. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel. Visitation with the family will be prior to the service beginning at 1 PM. Marty was born November 16, 1957 in Dallas, Texas to Pyburn Jesse and Ella Francis Hardin Crenshaw. Mexia was where he grew up, attended school and made his home. He was a truck driver for several years. Marty was very sociable, friendly and never met a stranger. He was loving father who enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, whenever possible. Marty was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed playing pool and was a collector of pocket knives and coins. He was also remembered, by his children, as always ready to give advice. Marty, basically, enjoyed living a simple life and living it to the fullest. He was preceded in death by his parents; Jesse and Ella Crenshaw. Marty is survived by his daughter, Melissa Carroll of Mexia; sons, Bryan Crenshaw of Waco and Bradley Crenshaw and wife, Alexa of Irving; three grandchildren, Brandon, Tori and Zachary Little; and other relatives and friends.
