Mary Adams

Mary Current Adams passed away January 4, 2017 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 62. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Bro. Tommy Lance officiating. Visitation with the family will be 1-2 p.m., prior to the service on Tuesday. Mary was born October 6, 1954 in Fairfield, Texas to Sam and Omah Faye Lance Carter. She was in administration for Texas Baptist for a number of years. Mary was a loving mother and grandmother; her world revolved around her family, especially the grandchildren. She enjoyed family gatherings, arts and crafts, crocheting and babysitting. Mary was also a devoted Christian whose faith in God was strong. She was a member Heights Baptist Church in Richardson. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mary is survived by her sons, Corey Current and Jeremy Adams and wife Melanie: grandchildren, Ryan Makayla, Joshua Corey, Nevaeh Analise Current, Marcus, Avery and Addie Adams: sisters, Sammie Faye Turner of Kirven, Christine Owsley and husband, John of Terrell; brother Fred L. Carter and wife, Debbie of Kirven; uncle , Tommy Lance of Mexia; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family has requested attendees wear cheerful colors, no black.
