Mary Ann Brewer

Mary Ann Brewer, of Mexia, passed away on January 17, 2022 in Arlington, Texas at the age of 48. Visitation with the family will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, January 21, 2021 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022 in the Prairie Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Rick Washington officiating. Interment will follow in the Prairie Hill Cemetery. Aaron Jacobs, Ryan Dabney, D. Dabney, Jonathan Miller, Bryan Dabney, Beau Brewer, and Cody Brewer will serve as pallbearers.

Mary Ann was born May 18, 1973 in Galveston, Texas to Norris Loyed Dabney, Jr. and Mary Jane (Rockey) Northcutt.

Mary Ann’s life revolved around her family. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Raising seven children requires a hard worker and someone with a strong will, Mary Ann possessed these qualities and more. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jane Northcutt.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Charles “Bubba” Brewer; children, Paisley Dabney, Zoey Hitchcock, McKenzie Hitchcock, Jonathan Miller, Bryan Miller, Cody Brewer and Beau Brewer; grandchildren, Body Brewer, Casten Brewer, and Kinlynn Brewer; father, Norris Loyed Dabney, Jr.; brothers, Ryan Dabney and Norris Loyed Dabney, III; sister, Robyn Lynn Duke; step dad, Johnny Northcutt; step brother, Shane Northcutt; step sister, Sabrina Carter; and several nieces and nephews.
