Mary Morgan

Mary Lynn Morgan, of Mexia, passed away April 22, 2020 in Waco, Texas at the age of 65.  Mary was born October 15, 1954 in Houston, Texas to Wade and Geneva Nichols Morgan.  She attended Mexia public school and graduated from Mexia High School, Class of 1973.  She was a homemaker and the proud mother of one son, Paul.

Mary loved kids, animals and all plants.  There was nothing she enjoyed more than being a grandmother; she took advantage of every opportunity to spend time with them and, more importantly, to spoil them.  She liked gardening and was especially fond of her precious dog and companion, Little Boy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Geneva Morgan; and sister, Tommie Morgan.

Mary is survived by her son, Paul Hernandez and wife, Wendy of Linden, Texas; three grandchildren, Christopher, Kasity and Gavin Hernandez; sister, Edith Susie Seals and husband Dan of Groesbeck; nieces, Rene Cross and husband, Gary, Laura Taylor and and husband Bill and  Amanda Gonzales; great nephews, Nathan Cross and Will Taylor; great niece, Morgan Flannery her dog, Little Boy.

A private family graveside service will held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2020 in the Prairie Grove Cemetery with Bro. Clifton Jones officiating.
