After 84 years of life, Mary Julia Robinson passed from our presence on Thursday, February 7, 2013 in Tomball, Texas. She will be missed and remembered by everyone she leaves behind. Mary was born September 24, 1928 in Kosse, Texas as an only child to Nellie Maude Cherry and Edward Cherry. She married Wayne Harvell Robinson, Sr. December 31, 1948 and together they had four children: Wayne Harvell Robinson, Jr., Cherry Ann Phegley, Steven Shea Robinson and Elizabeth Renee Colwell. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and husband. Mary is survived by her son, Wayne Harvell Robinson, Jr.; daughter, Cherry Ann Phegley and her husband, Michael; son, Steven Shea Robinson and his wife, Suzanne; daughter, Elizabeth Renee Colwell and her husband, Daniel; grandchildren, Adam Robinson and his wife, Katie, Lacie Robinson, Kelly Breland and her husband, Michael, Kimberly Colwell-Garcia and her husband, Joe and Ryan Colwell and his wife, Rebecca; great-grandchildren, Lawson Robinson, Kodi Robinson, Emily Breland and Addison Breland; her niece, Pam Graham; nephew, Gary E. Wells; her good friend of sixty-seven years, Gerry Tevebaugh; and her two cats, Smokey and Sandy. In her free time, Mary enjoyed painting, reading and working crossword puzzles, reading the daily newspaper and spending time with her cats. She also had a love for animals and enjoyed sitting outside to bird watch. Graveside services will be held at Kosse Cemetery, Sunday, February 10, 2013 at 2 p.m., Kosse, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA.
