Services for Matthew Lynn Sanford will be 10AM Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at the Mexia Cemetery with Rev. Brian Hallmark officiating. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 PM, Tuesday, at the Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Matthew Lynn Sanford was born September 16, 1990 and left this earth on September 24, 2011. Matthew loved his girls and all his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and his big jacked-up truck. Matthew also played baseball, basketball and softball. He liked to ride the backroads and play country music. Matthew was always friendly and well liked by his peers. Matthew worked at the bus barn while attending Mexia High School. He was currently employed at Kwik Kar in Mexia. Matthew will be missed by many. He was preceded in death by his great-grandpas, Raymond Simmons and Skeeter Tully.
