Mavis Reed

Mavis LaNell Reed, 76, of Mexia passed away June 29, 2011 in Mexia, Texas. A visitation and remembrance time will be held from 6-7 PM, Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Mavis was born September 19, 1934 in Center, Texas to Dewey and Bertha (Lovett) Campbell. She devoted her life to loving and caring for her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Everett O. Finch and Benjamin C. Reed; son, Ronnie E. Ballard Finch; and sister, Marie Donaldson. Mavis is survived by a daughter, Clarissa Reed of Shiloh; three sons, Albert F. Finch of Garland, Everett Finch and wife, Melissa and Benjamin C. Reed all of Mexia; grandchildren, Keith Finch of Robinson, Lauren Finch Eickstead of San Antonio, Elex Reed of Mexia, Anthony Finch of Mexia, Jared Finch of Boerne, Tosha Hunsucker of Lacy Lakeview and James M. Finch of Robinson; a number of great-grandchildren; and sister, Mary Jo Lampley and husband, Doug of Center.
