Maxine Ruth Camille Black, 89, of Teague passed away January 11, 2010 in Waco. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. Maxine was bron December 9, 1920 in Dallas, Texas to Emory and Viola (Proffitt) Kinikin. She worked as a secretary for Champion Paper Company in Pasadena for 38 years. Maxine was not only a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, but a wonderful friend to many. She was a member of Christian Miracle Center in Buffalo. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Black; grandson, Ricky Allen; one sister and three brothers. Maxine is survived by her son, A. D. Black and wife, Sheila of Teague; grandchildren, Joey and Destiny Black of Teague, Martin and Marsha Black of Dew and Clyde Allen, Jr. and wife, Rosalind of Houston; great-grandchildren, Carson Black, Jackson Black, Bryceson Black, Emery Black, Parker Black and Bella Allen; and a host of friends from church and the community.
