Michael Austin

Michael Nolan "Mike" Austin, 64, passed away June 22, 2013 in Waco, Texas. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 27, 2013, in the Forest Glade Cemetery. Mike was born September 17, 1948 in San Antonio, Texas to Delmer and Betty June Austin. He had been a resident of the Mexia area since the early 1980's. He was a retired master electrician. Mike proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as a part of the 11th ACR. He was a lifetime member of the Black Horse Association. Mike is survived by his companion, Ann Kilgore of Mexia; father, Delmer and mother, Betty; daughters, Melissa Dawn Austin of Houston and Summer Austin Barnes of Dallas; grandson, Blake Dixon Barnes; sisters, Donna and Nancy; and brother, Chris.
