Funeral services for Michael Joe (Humpty)) Duke, Sr. 48 of Groesbeck will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2007 in First Baptist Church of Tehuacana. Rev. Dale McDaniel, pastor and Rev. Johnny Layton, pastor of Lake Limestone Baptist Church Will officiate with interment to follow in Tehuacana Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday night at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Mr. Duke was born March 22, 1959 in Mexia and passed away at his residence on January 28, 2007. He was a truck driver and a member of the First Baptist Church In Tehuacana. He is survived by his wife, Tanya A. Diamond-Duke of Groesbeck, his father, Billy Duke and wife, Ann of Tehuacana, his mother, Charlotte Raborn and husband, Joe Of Woodway, children, Michael Joe Duke, Jr. and wife, Robyn of Groesbeck, Danny Paul Duke and wife, Michelle of Groesbeck, grandchildren, Morgan Duke, Michael J. Duke III, Weslee and Kenneth Duke; sisters, Janet Noonan of Castroville, Texas and Kim Carter of Mexia, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Duke on July 26, 2006. Pallbearers will be Russell Jones, Bubba Walpole, David Duke, Ricky Sanders, Yancy Battreall and Clayton Loper, and honorary pallbearers are Ron Arnold, Donnie Morrow, Aaron Pierce and Jackie McKinley. .
