Michael Wayne Gann, 65, of Houston passed away May 18, 2010 in Houston. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, May 22, 2010 at God's Cathedral of Praise and Worship with Rev. Lacy Williams officiating. Interment will be in the Mexia Cemetery. Michael was born December 30, 1944 in Mexia, Texas to Marshall Albert and Bobbie Louise (Ayers) Gann. He was a 1964 graduate of White Deer High School and attended college at Amarillo Jr. College. He retired from Dart Industries - Chemical Company after 19 years as a Process Operator. Michael served his country in the Vietnam War as a member of the Texas National Guard. He was very devoted to his family; a loving father, grandfather and brother. Michael's favorite past time was being with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed music and playing his guitar. He was preceded in death by his parents. Michael is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Crocker of Houston; grandchildren, Katy and Jacob Crocker; brothers, James Gann of Houston, Bill Gann of Seabrook, Gary Gann of Seabrook and Greg Gann of Mexia; and a number nieces and nephews.
