Michael Rich

Michael Jaye Rich passed away at his home in Austin, Texas on March 9, 2020 at the age of 38.   Michael was born July 29, 1981 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Jerry Rich and Mary Tidwell.  He was an honor graduate of John Tyler High School, Class of 2000, in Tyler, Texas.  He also attended the University of Texas at Austin School of Business.  He worked for many years as an IT consultant.

Michael loved computers, handbells, his cats and his family.

Michael is survived by his father, Jerry Rich; mother, Mary Tidwell; and sister, Jennifer Rich.

A service to honor and celebrate the life of Michael will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at the Fort Parker Memorial Cemetery Pavilion from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., with interment at 2:00 p.m.  This will be an opportunity for family and friends to share memories, stories, laughter, tears and remembrances in celebrating Mike’s life.  Please feel free to come and go during this time.
