Michael Tron Watson

Michael Tron Watson passed away August 11, 2024 in Fairfield, Texas. He was born January 10, 1975 in Garland, Texas to Ronnie Dale and Ruth Delores (Farrington) Watson. He lived in the Mexia area his entire life and was a graduate of Mexia High School. 

Mike was easy-going, loving and gentle spirited. He was a proud father and grandfather of two daughters, Allie and April and granddaughter, Chloe. For the last several years, he became a caregiver and took care of his mother until her death.

Mike enjoyed living a simple life in the country. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially, fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronnie and Ruth Watson.

Mike is survived by his daughters, Allie Watson and April Watson; granddaughter, Chloe Watson; brothers, Jerry Watson and Ronald Watson; special friend and mother of his children, Amy Medina; aunts, Brenda Brown and Carolyn York; uncle, Lonnie Watson; niece, Laci Watson; and nephew, R. J. Watson.

Visitation with the family will be 1:00-2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home; services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Shane Norcross officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery. Trent Mason, Jason Browne, Paul Browne, Hunter Browne, Charlie Fortson, and Monty Calame will serve as pallbearers.
