Mildred Golden

Miss Mildred Golden, 88, of Mexia passed away Sunday, October 28, 2007 in Mexia. Miss Golden was born January 5, 1919 in Tyler to J.J. and Minnie Adamson Golden. She was a graduate of Mexia High School, homemaker and longtime member of the Point Enterprise Baptist Church. Miss Golden was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and sisters - Herbert Golden, Hugh Golden, Carl Golden, Barton Golden, Ruth Golden, R.C. Golden, Viola Patton and Alta Mangum. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Miss Golden will be 2 PM Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at the Point Enterprise Baptist Church with Rev. James Herrington officiating. Burial will follow in the Point Enterprise cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 6 until 8 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
