Monty Paul Phillips went to be with the Lord on Monday, July 18, 2022 at the age of 47.

Monty was a graduate, and Salutatorian, of Red Oak High School in Red Oak, TX.  He attended the University of Houston on a full scholarship.

Monty is survived by his mother, Glenda Phillips of Red Oak, TX; father, Harold Phillips and wife, Judy of Palestine, TX; brother, Chris Phillips of Paris, TX; sister, Ashlee Clifton of Whitehouse, TX; uncles, Ron Freeman and wife, Lea of Groesbeck, TX, Buford McCarter and wife, Marilyn of Lueders, TX, Wayne Phillips of Fairfield, TX; and aunts, Nelda Schuening and husband, R. J. of Palestine, TX, Evie Pharris and husband, Curtis, Allyene Stowe, and Judy Parker of Fairfield, TX.  He is also survived by numerous cousins and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by is grandparents, Claude and Ellen Freeman; grandmother, Lena Phillips; uncle, Albert Freeman; and aunt, Carolyn Taylor.

A loving son that will always and forever remain in our hearts.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home with Pastor Jared Douglas officiating.
