Nathan Scott Bellah Cooley, 34, of Mexia passed away suddenly, June 29, 2010. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 2, 2010 at Common Ground Cowboy Church, approximately 5 miles south of Kosse on Highway 14 (on the left). Pastor Terri Williams will officiate with burial to follow at Clear Creek Cemetery in Flynn. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 PM until time of service on Friday at the church. Nathan was born August 8, 1975 in Bryan, Texas. The most important thing to him was spending time with his most precious son, Bryson. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ivan and Henrietta Bellah; and his maternal grandfather, Virgil Watson. Nathan is survived by his wife, Stormy Ayres and son, Bryson Nathaniel Cooley of Mexia. He is also survived by his mother and step-father, Linda and Dale Dawson of Mexia; his father and step-mother, Garland and Nancy Bellah of Kosse; brother, Clint Bellah of Thornton; sister, Amy Groholski and husband, Travis of Bremond; niece, Brooke Lunsford of Atascocita; nephews, Brendon Bellah of Thornton and Evan Groholski of Bremond; maternal grandmother, Olga Jean Watson of Tehuacana; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Pallbearers will be Justin Duke, Clint Winstead, Brian Smith, Travis Lunsford, Kevin Watson, Larry Thompson and Bobby Johnson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to three year old Bryson Cooley, c/o First National Bank of Groesbeck.
