Nelma Dillon

Mrs. Nelma Ayers "Beba" Dillon, 92 of Kosse passed away Thursday August 25, 2005 in Hewitt. Mrs. Dillon was born August 3, 1913 in Kosse to Joe Dewitt and Mary Omega Seale Ayers. She married John Taylor Dillon in 1936. Mrs. Dillon retired from the VA Hospital in Waco and moved back to Kosse in 1979. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kosse. Mrs. Dillon was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters - Jane Louise Ayers, Mildred Suttle and Mary Jo Wells Stewart, also by a nephew - John Michael Wells. She is survived by her nieces - Janna Gipson and husband Joel of Hewitt, Jenny Gore and husband Richard of Georgetown, Barbara Stewart and daughter Blythe of Kosse, Sue Wells and her sons - Steven and Scott Wells of Kosse. She is also survived by a number of great nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Dillon will be 2 PM Sunday, August 28, 2005 at the First Baptist Church in Kosse, with the Reverend Tom Vance officiating. Burial will follow in the Kosse cemetery. Family visitation will be Saturday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the Blair-Stubbs chapel in Thornton. Pallbearers will be Joel Gipson, Ben Nettles, Robert O'Neal, James Railsback, Scott Wells and Steven Wells. Honorary pallbearer will be Leldon Thompson.
