Norma White

Norma Sue White, 77, of Thornton passed away October 29, 2011 in Groesbeck, Texas. Memorial services will be 2PM, Monday, October 31, 2011 at Lost Prairie Baptist Church with Rev. J. R. Tapley officiating. Norma was born September 22, 1934 in Frankell, Texas to Walter Bruce and Lorene S. Scoggins Cobb. She retired from Texas Instruments after 12 years of service as a supervisor. She married John Earnest White in Thornton, Texas on September 8, 2001. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Christopher Justin Bishop and brother, Walter Bruce Cobb, Jr.. Norma is survived by her husband, John of Thornton; son, Roger Dean McKee of Thornton; daughter, Reta Dianne McKee White and husband, Donald of Groesbeck; three grandchildren, Angelia Lorene Bishop, Charles Art Bishop and Brittney De la Cruz; sister, Mary Lou Lehrmann; and brother, Rayborn Paschal Cobb.
