Patsy Runnels

Mrs. Patsy Ann Runnels, 74, of Mexia passed away Thursday, June 16, 2001 in Mexia. She was born October 10, 1936 in Ennis, Texas to Gordan and Vergie Inez Sheets Taylor. Patsy had lived in the Mexia area for over 30 years and had worked as a medication aide at the Mexia State School and activity director for a local nursing home. She loved going to church when she was able and she also loved to sing. Another one of her favorite activities was reading the bible, of which she was extremely knowledgeable. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Larry Jordan of Dacula, Georgia, son, Brian Preston of Huntsville, Texas, 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Gloria Sicola and by several nieces and nephews. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
