Prudie Earline Isbell of Tehuacana passed away November 19, 2011 in Mexia. She was born in Iola, Tennessee on January 7, 1926 to Jack and Emma Wallace. She married Joe Isbell, Jr. on June 18, 1940 in Limestone County; they were together for 44 years before his death in 1985. They were the parents of eight children. Earline loved to fish and iron for the public. She also enjoyed cross stitching and embroidering. Her love for children was exemplified in that she was a babysitter for many other children. Her love for her family and friends was evident in her life. She was preceded in death her parents; husband; and her oldest son, Ozie Lewis Isbell in 1981. Earline is survived by her children, Joe D. Isbell and wife, Doretha of Teague, James Isbell and wife, Donna of Richmond, Kelly Isbell and wife, Joanie of Tehuacana, Ruth Finley and husband, Charlie of Coolidge, Shirley Lane and husband, Bill of Dew, Patsy Reddin and husband, Sims of Prairie Hill and Debbie Barnes and husband, John of Longview; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Glenda Wallace of Mexia. Graveside services will be 2PM, Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in the Tehuacana Cemetery with Rev. Fred Sain officiating. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
