Quentin Shane Cooper, 17, of Gulf Breeze passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, May 26, 2013 after a long battle with liver cancer. Quentin graduated with the Gulf Breeze High School Class of 2013. He loved skateboarding, baseball, video games and hanging out with his friends. He also worked at Funny Cars on Pensacola Beach. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah Walker and John Cooper; and great-grandparents, Faye (Clea) Myers and L.C. (John) Cooper. Quentin is survived by his parents, Trina (Chris) Turner and John (Tracy) Cooper; grandparents, Chuck Walker, Sandy (Doyle) Lee and Bea Turner; uncles, Mark Walker and Greg Turner; aunts, Ofelia Walker and Lisa Turner; cousin, Madyssen Walker; step-brothers, Daniel and Brent Turner; step-sisters, Chancey and Kennah Craig; and numerous relatives and friends. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Gulf Breeze, Florida. Graveside services will be 1PM, Saturday, June 1, 2013 in Wilson Chapel Cemetery near Groesbeck, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Quentine Cooper Liver Life 5K, Attention: Ms. Landfair, 675 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze, Florida 32561. Quentin touched every person he cam in contact with, each in their own way. His legacy will live on through our memories and the future Quentin Liver Life 5K.
