Ralph Samuel Walls

Ralph Samuel Walls of Mexia, Texas has gone to be with the Lord at the age of 71. He is preceded in death by his father, Walter James Walls, his mother, Elma Eilene Walls, and brother, David Walls, all of Virginia.

He is survived by his loving wife and soul mate of 53 years, Karen Sue Walls; his four children Chris Walls and wife Tammy of Dinwiddle, Virginia; Brian Walls and wife Cindy of Madison, Virginia; Elizabeth Crawford and husband Aaron of Mexia, Texas; and Jason Walls and wife Christy of Valley Mills, Texas. He has eleven grandchildren: Karina Hall, Kiersten Thompson, Kolleen Walls, Samuel Walls, Timothy Walls, Seth Walls, Dylan Crawford, Cameron Crawford, Austin Walls, Nicholas Walls, Logan Kirwin and nine great grandchildren.

He is survived by four brothers, Lloyd Walls and wife Paula, Mike Walls and wife Waynette, Tim Walls and wife Phyllis, Doug Walls and wife Tina as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews.

Ralph loved his music and playing guitar in church with his brothers for years. His hobbies included fishing, boating and camping with his family. He was an auto mechanic as well as an auto body mechanic and paint man for many years. He loved CB radios when traveling with his family on road trips to camp meetings and revivals. His CB handle was “Green Rabbit”.

Ralph served our country in the Army National Guard in Richmond, Virginia.

He will be sorely missed by all who loved him and whose lives he touched and been a part of.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home with Mike and Lloyd Walls officiating.
