Ralph Weaver Jr.

Ralph William Weaver, Jr., 75, of Mexia passed away November 26, 2012 in Waco, Texas. Memorial services will be 11AM, Thursday, November 29, 2012 at Blair-Stubbs Chapel with Rev. Marcus Sheffield officiating. Ralph was born November 14, 1937 in Iowa City, Iowa to Ralph William and Geneva Pauline Brenneman Weaver. He career was spent working in the Rock Quarry business, having served in the capacities of owner, manager and consultant. His philosophy was that hard work brought its own rewards. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Ralph loved his family and friends. He, also, loved playing golf and traveling around the country; he lived life to its fullest. In his younger years, he is remembered as a really good piano player. Ralph was kind, honest and the best friend a person could ever have. Ralph is survived by his wife, Jo Bennett of Mexia; three children, Scott Weaver, Corby Cochenour and Kristen Kinney all of Missouri; eight grandchildren, Leah Weaver, Lacy Kohn, Joshua Hill, Brianna, Delanie and Matthew Cochenour and Michael Kinney; and brother, Ernie Weaver. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
