Raydon Demond Childs, infant son of Raymond D. Childs and Kayla Adams, passed away at Cook Children's Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born May 17, 2013 at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco. Graveside services will be 9AM, Saturday, June 22, 2013 in the Mexia Cemetery with Rev. Robby Kirby and Rev. James Wright officiating. A family visitation will be held from 5-6 p.m., Friday at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandfathers, Rossie Foreman and Pastor Horace Quigley; maternal great-grandfather, Joe Wayne Adams, Sr.; and Little Joey Adams. Raydon is survived by his father, Raymond D. Childs of Mexia; mother, Kayla Adams of Fairfield; paternal grandparents, Marvin and Linda Childs of Mexia and Mary and Charles Thomas of Temple; great-grandmothers, Elnora Childs and Vera Quigley of Mexia; special aunt and uncle, Aniquae and Brandon Banks and children, Prince, Princess and Majeski of Mexia; uncles, Marvin Childs, Jr. of Waco and Darrien and Morgan Childs; special great-uncles, Robert and Felicia Quigley and children, Hailey, Kaycee, Alis, Robert, Jr. and Caden of Dallas and Kenneth Quigley and children, Mika, Reyna and Adrian of Mexia. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Joe Adams, Jr. of Mexia and Ricky and Sheri Mireles of Fairfield; great-grandparents, Diana Hagen of Houston, Graham and Carol Compton of Mexia and Shirley Houchens of Weatherford; aunts and uncles, Autumn Rawls and Clayton Turner of Teague, Joe Wayne Adams, III of Fairfield, Byron and Noah Mireles of Fairfield, Lauren Stagger of Mesquite, Rachael Adams of Hillsboro and Marcus and Heather Reyes and children, Mia and Noah of Woodway; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers.
