Renell Perrotti, 62, of Mexia passed away December 25, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Tom Prentiss officiating. Interment will follow in the Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Renell was born September 3, 1948 in Corsicana, Texas to Marshall Desmond and Martha Jo (McClung) Rudder. She graduated from Mexia High School in 1966. She recently retired from the Mexia State Supported Living Center after 38 years of service. Renell loved animals of all kinds, she referred to them as "God's creatures"; hers were considered as part of her family. Her big heart and nurturing ways were evident in her life by the way she treated people and animals. She enjoyed working in her yard and on her old home place. Her love for flowers and plants began at an early age while working with her parents in their nursery business. Renell was devoted to her family and many friends. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jan Rudder. Renell is survived by her son, Louis Marshall "Louie" Perrotti of Mexia; close friend, Donald Scott of Teague; and her many dogs and cats.
