Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Adell Cooper, 90, of Mexia will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2006 in Blair - Stubbs Chapel. Rev. James Hooper and Rev. Rick Gray will officiate with interment to follow in Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 6 - 8 p.m. on Monday night at the funeral home. Mrs. Cooper was born on August 20, 1915 in Dawson to W. C. and Mary Arizona Haley and passed away on February 19 in Parkview Regional Hospital, Mexia. She retired from the Mexia State School as ward attendant and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard B. Cooper in 1993 , parents, And brothers, Dee Haley, Clifton Haley and Vermon Haley. She is survived by daughters, Barbara Fowler and husband , Dennie of Mexia, And Blinda Hansen and husband, Alan of Waco, son, Terry Cooper and wife, Patty of Mexia; grandchildren: Jacob Cooper, Diana and Shane Loftin, Bobby DeWayne and Phyllis Fowler, and James Carlile II; great grandchildren: Lance Loftin, Savannah Loftin, Tori Loftin, Joshua Carlile, Brandy Nichole Fowler, And Cody Thomas Fowler, sister, Audie Mae Lide of Axtell. Pallbearers will be Sammy Cooper, Cody Fowler, Thomas Carlile II, Josh Carlile, Bobby Fowler, Lance Loftin, Shane Loftin and Rod Russell.
