Visitation with the family will be 10:00-11:00 a.m., Tuesday, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home. Ruby was born December 11, 1942 in Groesbeck, Texas to J.B. and Zadie Tumlison Foley. She retired from the Mexia State School after 20 years of service. Ruby was known for being kind, strong willed, hard headed and a loving person. Her family was her pride and joy. Ruby loved her children but those grandchildren were most precious to her; she loved them dearly. Due to health conditions, she has resided in Kirvin for the past two years with her daughter, Christy, which allowed her more of an opportunity to really enjoy her grandchildren. They kept her going, Wyatt got a kick out of her trying to chase him and she would try, even on her worst days. Her newest granddaughter, Colbi, really made her light up, she referred to her as her "angel girl". Ruby had a big heart, she loved to give to people and nothing please her more than seeing the smile on their face. She also enjoyed sewing, especially with her dear friend, Betty (Little Bit). Granny will be missed but her love will never be forgotten. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, H.T. Henson; daughter, Ruby Hagg; and son, Leonard Henson. Ruby is survived by her loving children, Henry Henson and wife, Maria of Ben Wheeler, Jason Henson of Mexia and Christy Hogan and husband, Joe of Kirvin; grandchildren, Misty Smith, Stormy Oakes and Billy Hardy and Mika and Patton Hardy; great-grandchildren, Makayla, Wyatt and Colbi Hogan, Grace and Christian Smith, Ansley and Westyn Oakes; and brother, O'Neal Foley of Farrar, Tx.
