Funeral services for Steven Lynn (Steve) Henderson, 48 of Mexia will be 1 p.m. Sunday February 11, 2007 in First United Methodist Church in Mexia. Rev. Sonny Buie And Stan Sewell will officiate with interment following in Mexia Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5 - 7 p.m. Saturday at Blair - Stubbs Funeral Home. Steven was born on January 13, 1959 in Mexia to Ray Gene and Nellie Ruth Sanders Henderson. He graduated high school in Mexia and was pastor of the Christ the King Fellowship in Mexia. He is survived by his son, Stephen Keith Henderson of Mexia, parents, Ray Gene and Nellie Ruth Henderson; grandmother, Nellie Sanders Dick, sister, Kathy Pickett and Husband, Tommy of Teague, brother, Huey Henderson and wife, Leah of Henderson, Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Sharon and Derek Hale. Pallbearers will be Jan Harrison, Greg Guest, Mike Morton, Spike Morton, Russell Marshburn and Stan Sewell. Memorials may be made to Providence Hospice in Mexia or American Cancer Society.
